Dear Logan Square residents,
Our names are Liz Riedman and Hamil Pearsall, a graduate student and professor at Temple University, working on a study on what residents and community members think about tree planting initiatives in your community. We are looking to get in touch with residents who might face barriers to tree planting or would be able to share some insight into choosing not to participate in tree planting initiatives in your community. We will be conducting a focus group that will last one hour and will be held virtually on Zoom. You may decline to participate at any point or leave the meeting. We will offer a $20 Visa gift card following your participation in the interview.
This is a part of the ongoing efforts to increase tree coverage in your neighborhood and throughout the Philadelphia area. This study is approved by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and your neighborhood Logan Square PHS Tree Tenders Group.
