Dear Neighbors,
Please support our neighborhood Logan Square PHS Tree Tenders Group’s fundraising effort to benefit the PHS More Trees Please Campaign. Your donation, no matter how big or small will make a difference. Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) and dozens of Tree Tenders groups need your help to plant more than 2,000 trees each year in neighborhoods and towns throughout Philadelphia and southeastern Pennsylvania. We all work tirelessly attempting to restore tree coverage that will help to mitigate our climate crisis/global warming. Our hard work benefits neighbors and communities by providing and planting street trees at no cost to the property owner.
Free tree programs only exist because tree coverage needs to be increased. Tree coverage in Philadelphia should be at least 30% of open space, the average in the city is 20%. Tree coverage in Logan Square is only 11%.
It’s easy to donate online. Click here to participate.
Thank you in advance for supporting this very worthy cause!
Best Regards,
