Parkway Presents “May in Maja Park” with a Performance by KyoDaiko Community Taiko Drumming Group, Thursday, May 18, 6:30-7:30pm

The Parkway Council is pleased to announce a set of free, outdoor performances in May, as part of its Parkway Presents initiative. Parkway Presents aims to showcase the depth and diversity of Philadelphia’s cultural scene and use the already iconic Benjamin Franklin Parkway as its stage. This May series will usher in the 2023 Parkway Presents season and is part of the Council’s efforts to accelerate the Parkway’s transformation into a great urban park for all. Parkway Presents is made possible, in part, thanks to PNC Arts Alive. Parkway Presents programs are family friendly and will have something for everyone. Events are free and open to all, no reservations or tickets necessary. Dogs are allowed on leash and please make sure to bring your own blanket or chair if desired. No seating, besides public benches, will be provided. Programs begin at 6:30 p.m. and will take place at Maja Park, N 22nd Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
