We’re Not Getting There Without SEPTA: Rally at City Hall
On April 10th, SEPTA released their proposed budget that outlines fixed route service cuts up to 45% and fare increases of 21.5%. The impacts on disabled riders would be even more profound, with 40,000 paratransit trips per year no longer served by SEPTA ACCESS, and fares increased by 35%.
In response, the chairs of the House and Senate Philadelphia delegation in partnership with Transit Forward and Transit 4 All PA! are planning a press conference and rally to channel the anticipated public backlash to this announcement and demonstrate our commitment to saving SEPTA.
Join us on Friday, April 11 at 11am to call on leaders in Harrisburg to allocate the necessary funds to support transit systems all across the commonwealth.
Philadelphia-area elected officials, riders, and workers will rally together to win the service we all deserve.
