Purpose/Procedures

The Zoning Committee works with developers on proposed projects to ensure that neighborhood concerns are reflected in any final development plans.  In advance of seeking approval from the Zoning Board of Adjustment, developers are encouraged to contact LSNA so the Zoning Committee can learn about the plans.

LSNA frequently asks developers to enter into a Neighborhood Development Agreement.  A Neighborhood Development Agreement specifies issues related to the proposed development and matters related to construction.

The Zoning Committee makes recommendations to the full LSNA Board on whether the Association will issue letters of non-opposition related to particular developments or variances.

Logan Square Neighborhood-Parkway Plan

LSNA partnered with the Philadelphia City Planning Commission and hired professional planners to prepare the Logan Square Neighborhood-Parkway Plan, a shared vision for the Logan Square community based on the input of residents, businesses, institutions, and other key stakeholders.
