Purpose/Procedures
The Zoning committee works with developers on proposed projects to ensure that neighborhood concerns are reflected in any final development plans. In advance of seeking approval from the Zoning Board of Adjustment, developers are encouraged to contact LSNA so the Zoning Committee can learn about the plans. LSNA frequently asks developers to enter into a Neighborhood Development Agreement. A Neighborhood Development Agreement specifies issues related to the proposed development and matters related to construction. The Zoning Committee makes recommendations to the full LSNA Board on whether the Association will issue letters of non-opposition related to particular developments or variances.
