Sunday, September 16th. Alternate date in case of 'heavy river,' Sunday, September 23rd.

Not exactly a ride, you'll paddle this unique boat on the
Schuylkill along with a coach, drummer, and others. (more info coming on this)

Where: Public ramp at St. Joseph's Boat House. 2PM. (needs to be verified)
Cost: $50 donation, includes box lunch and beverages.
Note: All participants need to sign waiver.

Registration: By September 8th.

Friday, September 28th @ 6 PM. We start before sunset and go until well after the lights come on in the city.

A birds-eye view of Philadelphia's distinguished skyline. Mark Flood will lead us through an architectural history tour of the city from a vantage of 20 stories above the ground. Sites will span from the Inquirer Building, the Mint, and other sites east, to City Hall, the Cathedral, all of Logan Square & Circle, and on to 30th Street Station and Cira building in the west.

Where: CityView Condos, 2001 Hamilton Street.
Cost: $75 minimum donation, includes hors d'oeuvres, wine, and other beverages.
Registration: This is a private party and will be limited to 20 persons.

Sunday afternoon in November (date to be determined) at The Franklin Institute, 20th & The Parkway.

The Franklin Institute has kindly offered us a Sunday afternoon to explore their treasures and attend a show at the Fels Planetarium.

Specials: Dennis Boylan of LSNA will give a presentation at Aviator Park beforehand and will direct us to special features inside the Institute. Derek Pitts, chief astronomer at the Fels, will visit with our group and answer questions, etc.

Cost: $20 minimum donation, includes box lunch.

A group of community members including the Pennyslvania Horticultural Society, the Friends of Silvi, and LSNA has been working alll Spring to update the plantings in Coxe Park. New gardens have been planted!
