Philadelphia, Aug. 26 - Mayor Jim Kenney’s administration this month launched its second “Philadelphia Resident Survey” to ask Philadelphians what its priorities should be next budget year and in the five-year plan it will unveil in March. In the survey, which closes Nov. 3, residents are asked to rate city services and answer questions about their quality of life, including whether they feel safe and how they commute to and from work.

More cities are spending time trying to figure out how they’re doing, said Christiana McFarland, research director for the National League of Cities.
