Are you interested in improving the health of Philadelphia’s waterways? Interested in organizing educational events, workshops, and community walks? If so, you can apply to become a Philadelphia County Master Watershed Steward! The program is a partnership of Penn State Extension and the Philadelphia Water Department.
The spring 2020 class begins in early April, and offers a mix of presentations and field trips. Those accepted to the program attend training classes that focus on a broad range of water resource topics, including stream ecology, invasive plants, watershed protection and more!
