MLK Jr Drive Rehabilitation Project - Virtual Public Meeting

posted Aug 2, 2020, 9:17 AM by David Cardy
Dear Stakeholder:

We hope you are well.

Back in March, we reached out to you regarding a public open house for the MLK Jr. Drive Bridge Rehabilitation Project. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency, the public open house is being held virtually.

This public open house may be different than others you have participated in. It will be “open” from August 3, 2020 through August 21, 2020 – 24 hours/day, 7 days/week

To visit the open house you simply click on the link below and follow the instructions. You will be asked to sign in and then be directed to the meeting exhibits (there is narrative with each of the exhibits – it is the information that you would have received from one of the design team members). If you have comments about the project, please fill out a comment form. The best part about this meeting is that you can visit on your schedule (whatever time is convenient for you) and come back if needed.

The primary goal of this project is to replace the bridge deck to ensure structural integrity and to meet current design standards. The bridge is being widened to its maximum capacity to provide a side path for pedestrians and cyclists.

We ask that you please share this link and attached flyer with the members of your organization and anyone else who uses the MLK Jr. Drive Bridge.

Should you have any questions, please send an email to MLK.bridge.rehab@phila.gov.

We look forward to your participation!

Kind Regards,
