We are fortunate to have the beautiful Matthias Baldwin Park right here in our neighborhood (423 N. 19th Street). The park provides fantastic views, a peaceful place to sit among lovely trees and plantings, a place to walk your dogs and encounter your neighbors. Also, it was a great neighborhood amenity during the pandemic. The Friends of Matthias Baldwin Park is a volunteer group committed to maintaining, restoring and preserving the park. Our website has information about the park, neighborhood history, Friends’ projects, and upcoming Friends’ meetings and park events. Please consider supporting the park by becoming a member of the Friends. Our 2021 membership year starts on April 1, and membership levels start at $25.00 annually.  To join, visit our website  If you have any questions, you can contact us at  Thank you for your support.

We are also involved in a joint project with Aviator Park to place tree identification tags on the trees in both parks. Keep your eyes on those trees!
