Community Meeting: Re-Development of Cathedral Site - April 8th, 2019

posted Mar 23, 2019, 8:20 AM by David Cardy
Community meeting re: redevelopment of Cathedral site
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has selected Conshohocken-based Exeter Property Group as
its partner in the redevelopment of the site surrounding the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter
and Paul. The site is bound by Race Street, 17th Street, Vine Street, and the Cathedral/18th
Street. We invite all residents of the Logan Square neighborhood to a meeting to discuss the
future of this important site.

Currently, the site is in the RM-4 Zoning District. The Archdiocese and Exeter are seeking to
change the zoning classification of the site to CMX-4, a District that is more in line with the
zoning classifications of the surrounding blocks and will allow for contextual, mixed-use
development at the site. While you may have seen a previous presentation about the
redevelopment of the site, the proposal has evolved since then. Exeter is excited to introduce
themselves to you and present the evolving vision for the site.

Please join us for a meeting at:
WHEN: Monday, April 8th, 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: Archdiocese Auditorium (222 N. 17th Street)

We hope to see you there.

Sincerely,
Brett Peanasky
