How many times have you strolled down the historic streets of Center City and wondered what those varied and spectacular homes – and gardens - look like inside? Now's your chance as more than a dozen locations – from 15th Street to Fitler Square – open their doors and welcome you to come in and take a look. Don't miss this year's tour, rain or shine. Among the variety of townhouses and condominiums in this once-a-year spectacular open house tour are a Spruce Street mini-mansion (location for the film “The Best and the Brightest”), a contemporary and award-winning Leed Platinum registered “green” Fitler Square home, and significant historic buildings in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood.
The self-guided tour begins at Trinity Center for Urban Life, 2212 Spruce Street in Fitler Square or Beth Zion Beth Israel (BZBI) at 18th & Spruce Streets. Participants will receive a tour booklet with complete tour information, house descriptions and route map. In addition, ticket holders will receive day-of-tour 15% discount on food for dinner at designated area restaurants. Click here for current list of restaurants. Reservations are suggested.
