TREEPHILLY, which is offering free trees to city residents, will end its fall campaign on Oct. 19.

TreePhilly gave trees to 2,220 residents last year. City residents can request their free trees by calling 215-683-0217 or visiting TreePhilly.org.

Led by the Parks and Recreation Department, with support from the Fairmount Park Conservancy and Wells Fargo, the campaign is part of Greenworks Philadelphia's goal to plant 300,000 trees by 2015. Citizens may also contact TreePhilly to get involved.
